Brothers and sisters with professing and passionate faith walking away from church and from following Christ is a sorrowful reality many of us witness.  Loud voices of culture, life's hardships, and our own flesh can often drown out the hearing of God's word heralded privately (in our hearts) and publicly (in conversations, in pulpits). But it is amidst the deep brokenness of our dark world that the light of Christ in his words shines ever so brightly (Isa 9:2; Jn 1:4) and brings life that is truly life.

The apprenticeship will be a time where I learn to herald Christ in his words faithfully to those around me that they may stand firm in Jesus until the day he returns in glory. Lord willing, this will also be an opportunity where God will bring further clarity on how I may be used to serve him.
